Ideas to consider for our advocacy

Common Justifications

How to praise, inform, and ask questions
when people say common justifications.
Key concepts which have helped me as well as ideas for how to create a positive interaction.

Interaction Closing Card

Give this to people you have a positive interaction with to inspire them to take next steps.  It is a word document so you can customize it if you would like.
Terms to help avoid triggering others and steer interations toward the end of animal use.

Outreach Footage

Rights-based footage I've put together for street outreach.

While it shows animals at their end, it is far less graphic than most footage.  The idea is to draw people in, show why animals are individuals, and why they have a valid claim to basic moral rights.

The shorter clip, is a family-friendly / non-graphic version.  While I've found kids are often more prepared to watch footage than adults, I think this could encourge more people to watch.  It may also be worth considering for when activists are feeling run down and don't want to expose themselves to more trauma.

This is the list of songs I use while playing this footage.

thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."
